Which Instagram Apps Can/Should You Use?

I often get questions about which Instagram apps I use and which ones I can recommend. That is why I have listed the most useful Instagram apps in my opinion.

About

Over is an App to create Instagram stories & posts. It is a bit like Canva. You can use free templates, but also paid ones. You can choose different formats for Instagram posts or stories, Facebook, and Facebook advertisements. I often use a white background over which I put a photo. By adjusting the transparency, you will get a white haze that you can then type a text about in Stories.

Clipomatic or Autocap

Clipomatic (iOs) or Autocap (Android) are apps where you can put automatic subtitles under your videos. You record a video in the app, and it automatically puts subtitles under your video in the right place. You can still adjust the subtitles per word after recording. Useful for advertisements!

Unfold

Unfold is also an app for Instagram Stories. You can choose fixed formats and use your photos in it. You can also use a background for a video. Here too, you have paid and free templates.

Cutstory or Storycutter

Cutstory (iOs) and Storycutter (Android) are useful Apps if you have made a video longer than 1 minute for your Story. The App automatically cuts the video into pieces of 15 or 10 seconds!

Other useful apps:

Inshot

An app for video editing. You can make a slideshow of several photos or edit a video.

Hypetype

Hypetype is a video app where you can create animations in your stories! For example, you can make text move. There is a free version, but there are also paid font fonts.

VSCO

A well-known photo editing app is VSCO. This allows you to edit your photos with filters. One of my favorite apps to edit flatlayer pictures so that the background is white and the brightness is higher.

Later

Later is an extensive app where a desktop version is also available. You can schedule your posts but also look at your statistics. Recently you can also schedule Stories with Later.

Canva

Canva is available as an app, but also as a desktop version when you go to Canva.com. You probably already know these, but I think it's ideal for making different designs! Most functions are free, and you can use many templates.

Lightroom

The only app I use to edit my photos. You have a free-phone version and also a paid laptop version.
