Valentine’s Breakfast Decoration
/Valentine’s Day! Well, in Romania, we have our national version, which we celebrate on the 23rd of February. It’s said that during that night before, you might dream your one true love. I don’t really believe in these stories, but for the sake of love, I like to celebrate any occasion I can show my love for Vlad.
So, in order to do this, I started thinking of ways to have my weekend project based on love.
These ice cubes heart-shaped are an excellent option to surprise your significant one without going crazy. As the cubes melt, the milk turned pink.
What do you need?
Firstly, buy a heart ice cube tray. For sure you can find in Ikea or any other home decorations shop near your place then you will also need some red food dye and milk.
How to do it?
Add some milk with the food coloring in a small bowl and then fill in the ice cube tray. Leave it overnight in the freezer.
There you have it!
These ice cubes make it easy to start the morning in a unique way with your loved ones. As this year the holiday fall in a weekday, I wanted an easy way to still have the special day, before going to work.
Over the years, I realized that this holiday is represented by simple acts of love, rather than significant gifts or expensive dinners.
In the end, you can use the heart tray for any other day that you feel a bit nostalgic about your first date or your first kiss, or any other special moment. You can also fill it with red wine and added a soup for dinner. Or use it by adding watermelon on a hot summer into pink lemonade. Use it with melted chocolate to have heart-shaped chocolate candies. Whatever makes you think it’s unique. Get your heart tray and let the holiday begin.
