A Simple Recipe For American Pancakes In 15 Minutes
/A Simple Recipe For American Pancakes In 15 Minutes
Breakfast time for me is a special moment during the day because if this goes well, everything else during the day will be fantastic as well. Therefore, when the opportunity arises, I indulge myself and Vlad with cooking time, but not too loooong, we want to spend quality time together. We don't want to make a huge mess and then see ourselves forced to clean up. I appreciate every weekend morning because that's the best time to spend breakfast time in a quiet and relaxed manner since we both have a 9 to 5 job.
. theme: American Pancakes!
(required maple syrup)
Opportunity to the combined knowledge of the content of our kitchen presented itself this past weekend. Let's meet-does, not dreamers, and show off our culinary talent. I generally don't cook at home; therefore, such moments are an opportunity to have fun (and even more significant time together with Vlad). I wanted the original recipe, so the pancakes will not resemble the flavor of our excellent Romanian pancakes. Pulled out the standard features with a few rules and I made my mix, naively hoping that something will come of this. It was a shot in the hole, the pancakes came out fluffy and most importantly, tasty!
. ingredients:
• 220 g plain flour (the type 650)
• 320 ml buttermilk (1.5%)
• 30 g melted, butter (real butter 82%, any abstract pseudo similar products)
• 2 medium eggs
• 2-3 TSP sugar (it may seem like a little sweet, but in the final combined with maple syrup you a grateful, therefore, I do not recommend more)
• 1 level teaspoon baking powder
• 1 flat TSP baking soda
• pinch of salt
. cooking process:
Start by adding part of the melted butter in a saucepan. Then sieve the flour through the strainer, along with baking powder, salt, soda, and sugar (more if you use powdered sugar). Add two eggs and pour in the buttermilk, remembering at the end of the melted butter, then gently combine the ingredients, and then already on the mixer on the slowest speed. Our goal is to get a smooth mass with the consistency of cream. More or less it should have the texture of a cream soup, then you know for sure you did everything right!
Add the composition in a Teflon pan (this way the pancakes will not get stick) and turn them each side for one minute. Once you have a full beautiful pyramid of pancakes, pour plentifully maple syrup and voila! – the eyes no longer eat for us, it's us that eat the pancakes!
